Other Policies

Do Not Touch

Please do not touch the artifacts or the furniture that is labeled not to touch. There is a reason it has been labeled so. Even if it has not been labeled there is a strong possibility it is not to touch.

Locked Doors or Doors with just the top open

The buildings with locks on them are locked for a reason. Please do not try to get in to the building. The doors that have the half top open are just for you to have a look in the building without going in.

Children

Please supervise your children while onsite. There are a lot of artifacts that have been carefully curated for all to enjoy and they can not be replaced.

NO SMOKING

Absolutely no smoking or vaping on the Heritage Site grounds. If we catch you smoking or vaping we will ask you to stop and go to the parking lot or the rest stop across the street.

PETS

Please keep pets on a leash. We do allow for small pets in the buildings that are open but ask that larger pets please wait outside.
NOTE: There is a dish with water outside of the Museum at the front.

Aggression, Belligerency and Disrespect

Anyone who is acting aggressively, belligerently or with disrespect to staff or volunteers on our site will be asked to leave immediately.

Thank you!

We would like the buildings and the artifacts within to be here to enjoy now and for future generations. With your help we can ensure that they stay intact and preserved.
