The Ice House is an original log dairy built by William Walker in 1880. Dairy and large ice blocks were stored here. The ice blocks were cut out of the lake in the winter and stored here until needed. The ice would stay frozen all summer, as it was insulated using straw. There is an icebox in the kitchen of the museum, where food was kept cold with these large ice blocks.
If you see this symbol this building is part of the Ghost Tours.
