Game Warden's Cabin

The Game Warden's Cabin was built in 1941, approximately 94 kilometers (58 miles) west of 108 Mile House, and 36 kilometers (22 miles) south of Farewell Canyon. It was built in 5 days by Jack Steward and Walter Gill and when they were finished, they inscribed their names above the door. Their supervisors wanted them to build three cabins bu the other two couldn't withstand the test of time. They build  using horses to drag the logs, The Game Warden Cabin was built to bring support to horses., foot patrols and may also have been used as a starting point for such patrols.

All Game Wardens are certified peace officers. Their lives are dedicated to the conservation and management of wildlife and also to enforcing related laws.
