Clydsedale Barn
Built in 1908 by G. Munroe for Captain Watson, the Clydesdale barn was built to accommodate more than 100 Clydesdale horses and remains one of the largest log barns of its kind in Canada. The Clydesdale horses were some of the most impressive horses in this area.
Captain Watson also raised Highland Cattle and managed a herd of Reindeer. Unfortunately, Captain Watson was killed in WW1 in France, in 1915. He was remembered by the First Peoples of the area as a kind and generous man who would often lend horses or provide jobs for the area.
If you see this symbol this building is part of the Ghost Tours.
