Bunk House

The bunk house was built in 1892 by C.Tingley, the bunk house was built to accommodate the ranch hands which were then necessary to the running of a proper cattle ranching outfit. The ranch hands would usually eat dinner in the ranch house, but for other meals they were often left to their own devices (there is old cooking utensils and dinner wear on the table in the bunkhouse). Ranch hands also would have to own and look after their own saddles. Saddles are on display.
